Hey lovely ladies! You all should check out The Be.Loved Blog!
Their mission is to “To encourage, strengthen, and inspire women to walk in their identity as God’s be.loved one’s. So that they may experience a life of truth, purity, and boldness clinging to the eternal hope they have in Jesus Christ.”
So what is truth? How do you know its truth?
Today there are so many so-called truths which are really twisted doctrines that originate from not wanting to offend people groups/religions. But there is only one way. As unpopular as it may be to the world. This is the truth that we are stand on.
TRUTH requires you to take a stand.
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
JESUS HIMSELF IS TRUTH. It is not a set of rules or regulations. He is the word made flesh. He is truth made manifest. There is one truth, and that is Jesus Christ.
“Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is Truth” (John 17:17)
We must take time to seek out God apart from what others are saying. We are to search for Him as silver and Gold. And He will be found. It says those who seek will find, those who knock the door will be opened. We must discover the truth of who Jesus is by diving into the Word of God. It is there that we meet with Him and discover His heart, His ways, His passions. That in turn will transform us and as we grasp a hold of who TRUTH is. We will as a result begin to look more like Him.
In this day and age of twisted so called truths and ways to live life we must take the stand to stand for truth. Not because we are right, not out of legalism. But out of love. When you encounter God, you will discover everything He does flows out of LOVE. It is who He is. Therefore all truths are rooted in love. The truth [JESUS] lived His whole life from love. He loved every person in front of Him, He laid down His life for each of those people and every person who would come after Him. We are to love truth. How? By loving Jesus. He is the truth, there is not variation in Him.
So the next time you are wondering is this truth? Seek the Word. He will be found.
Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise… (Micah 7:8, NIV.)
Anytime you set out to do something great in life, there will be critics. If you’re going to be a great businessperson, coach, student, leader or employee, there will be opposition. The more success you have, the more opportunities there will be for distractions. The higher you go, the more haters will come out. When you start stretching to a new level and pursuing what God has placed in your heart, the jealous people, the critical people, and the small-minded people come out of the woodwork and start making negative comments, but you don’t have to let that distract you.
If you are under pressure today, if the critical voices are coming against you, know that it’s because you are making a difference. Don’t let them throw you off course. Instead, dig your heels in, set your face like a flint, and say, “I will not get distracted. I will not get drawn into battles that don’t matter. It doesn’t matter what others think; it matters what God thinks!”
Today, look beyond the critics. Stand strong in adversity. Press forward to what lies ahead and win the prize of life that He has prepared for you!
Prayer for Today:
Father, today I choose to let go of the negative voices, offenses and hurts from critical voices. I choose to focus on You and the good plan You have for me. Give me Your peace and joy as I move forward in the victory You have prepared for me in Jesus’ name! Amen.
What are you believing God for today? Promotion? Healing? Stronger relationships? Deliverance? God has promised all these things to you in His Word because it’s His heart for you to live in blessing and wholeness.
When you follow the will of God by obeying His Word and precepts, it opens the door for His promises to be fulfilled in your life. You may be doing all the right things today—don’t give up! Perseverance will carry you to the promise.
Perseverance means that you are focused, that you are believing what God says about your situation. It’s looking away from distractions and any negative, defeating thoughts. Perseverance looks away from discouragement and looks to the Word of God. Perseverance has a voice, and it says things like, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper! If God is for me, who can be against me! I am more than a conqueror through Jesus!”
Whatever you are believing for today, keep believing! Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. Ask God to give you endurance, perseverance and patience so that you can see His promises fulfilled in every area of your life!
